I like to think that a photo session with me feels like a date! Where you get to spend an hour running around having fun with your person. I won't just stick you in front of the camera and make you do all those cheesy poses and fake smiles, but I will ask you to kiss, tackle, whisper cute things in each others ears and love on each other. That doesn't sound too bad right? Whether you have something to celebrate or just want new photos, these sessions are the most fun. Now, let's talk about what some of you might be thinking; I will be the first to admit that I am a little awkward in front of the camera and I know a lot of you might feel that way too, but that's why I am here! There may be some awkward moments when I ask you to get super close and do silly prompts but that's only until you both start hysterically laughing and that is when the magic happens.
Family
Getting photos as a family is hard, but that's why I'm here! Whether you want a laid back session at home, or a session running around at the beach, the way I approach almost all family sessions is the same. I usually let the littles take the lead because I know that kids are more likely to smile when they are having fun than being forced to pose and smile. A family session with me should just feel like a fun day out with your little family. These sessions are meant to be light hearted and fun for everyone (not just the kids). That usually ends up meaning a lot more candids than posed photos, but truthfully, I wouldn't have it any other way. An hour where you can all run around and enjoy yourselves and get some insanely cute photos along the way. Sound like something that would be a good fit for you and your family?
