Q & A

Do you have travel fees?

Any session location that is under an hour, from me, I do not charge a travel fee! If it is over an hour, I charge a $100.00 travel fee. This covers miles, gas and tolls for both directions so you only pay this fee once for the session!

Will you help me decide what to wear?

I LOVE this question! Yes, yes yes! I would love to help you decide on an outfit for your session. It is true that some clothes don't photograph as well as others. I want to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in whatever you wear. I hope you feel so confident that you have two outfits you love and you want to do an outfit change! Also, I have added a "what to wear" section to my page, go check it out!

When will we get our photos?

For hour sessions, you will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within about 1-3 weeks from the date of your session! For weddings 5-6 weeks! (Sometimes even less depending on how busy the season is).

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in New Jersey (south jersey to be exact) and yes I travel! I like to travel even if it doesn't involve a camera in my hand but if it does involve photography, I like it even more! There is a travel fee, depending on where your event takes place but I am super flexible and there is no limit to where I can travel!

Are we able to pick our session location?

Yes! I get so excited when clients have their own vision for what they want their session to look like. I am all about adventure and creating a session that is unique to you. But, I am always here to help and search for your desired location and I always have a list of fun unique spots if you dont have any ideas!

How can I expect to receive my photos?

So, your session was amazing and you're dying to get your photos back. You will receive all of your photos back in an online gallery through my platform called Pixieset! From there, you will be able to view, favorite and download the photos from your session! These galleries wont last forever so I recommend downloading them to a safe place as soon as possible. Downloading the photos is also the best way to keep the image quality!

Why are engagement sessions important?

An engagement session with your wedding photographer is so important! It helps you get to know them better and also get a feel for their shooting style. It also gives you a chance to get in front of the camera and get comfortable before the big day, You will receive about 100 photos in your gallery which can be used for save the dates, print outs for your shower, and so much more.

Do I need a shot list?

The short answer is no. Aside from family photo lists, I don't usually recommend having a photo list. Sometimes having a shot list can make your wedding day feel like a photoshoot. This also gives me a little more creative control which lets me capture everything as it unfolds. I will always welcome a few shots, if you have a few "must have" photos but I never require it.

Should I have a second photographer?

I think this is totally up to you! I love working along side another talented photographer but I also dont mind photographing a wedding solo. If you are having a smaller scale wedding, then one photographer might be perfect for you! Or if you are having a bigger wedding, two photographers makes sense! I have multiple ladies who are my go-to girls for second shooters and I will always send you your second photographers page so you can see their work as well!

How do you feel about elopements/ destination weddings?

I (and I can't stress this enough) LOVE THEM! They are always so refreshing and unique and it brings me back to life every time I shoot one. Its not always easy to find a venue you love that is local to you so I love when people step outside their comfort zone and choose a location that is special or unique to them to celebrate their love! Or it could be nowhere in particular that you just think is beautiful! Either way, I am excited to work with you!

Will we get sneak peaks?

I always send sneak peaks within 24-48 hours of your wedding day!
