What to wear

While this may seem like a fairly simple task, there are so many things to consider when choosing what you will wear for your session. You want to think about, the season you'll be shooting in, where you'll be photographed, just to name a few. I am here to help with some tips for picking out the perfect outfit. If you read through these tips and are still unsure, please reach out so we can chat and I can send you my Pinterest clothing inspiration board!

Lets talk NEUTRALS

Whenever anyone asks what colors I recommend, my answer is usually the same. Neutrals go great with any landscape and keeps outfits simple. A few of my favorite go to neutrals are cream, pale blue, mauve, olive green and just to name a few. These colors photograph beautifully no matter the location and look great on everyone! This couple went with simple, neutral colors that weren't overpowering for their location and complimented them both perfectly!

Where my pattern people at?

Patterns can be tricky but if they are done right, they are the perfect addition to any photo. I always suggest that only one person wear a pattern and the other people in the photo wear a color that pulls from the colors in the pattern or wear some good ol' neutrals. Doing this helps balance out the outfits without having the patterns become a distraction. For example, the girl in this photo wore a black and white checkered top so her boyfriend wore a white top to pull from the white in her top!

Vibe off your season

Your attire should feed off of the location you're shooting in. If you're not sure, reach out to me! I love helping clients decide on what they should wear! This couple did their photos at a lake on a summer evening and decide to do some water shots at the end!
